Case of promoting the website of a local business in Vinnitsa

We will tell you about one of our old but very successful cases. One of our clients, whom we have been managing for quite a long time, has turned to us to promote two services in a new region – Vinnitsa. The client relocated to the new region and decided to open a branch of the rental business, but only for two types of equipment – electric scooters and bicycles.

Initial data

As a rule, website promotion in Vinnitsa is not heavy, but the request is quite specific—minimum time, budget, small terms, and promotion of only two new services.

We do not usually take on such projects. However, we have previously promoted this site in another region and achieved good results during site promotion in Kharkiv. We were confident in the site’s technical component and its overall ranking in the search engine, so we decided to help our client.

The site’s CMS is WordPress. We have been working with this engine for a long time, and promoting a site on WordPress is not difficult for us.

Works carried out

We’ve split this query on SEO promotion into several tasks:

• Collection and clustering of keywords for two services – search and clustering of key queries into two groups “bike hire in Vinnitsa” and “electric scooter hire in Vinnitsa”;
• Analysis of competitors’ content and formation of TOR for writing texts – search and analyse competitors’ content to form TOR for such a text, which will be better than the competitors;
• Writing and placing text descriptions – ordering texts from a copywriter, translation for the second language version, creating a page and placing content in it, as well as adding links to pages in the structure of the site (considering that the site was promoted in another region.);
• Metadata Compilation and Placement – compiling metadata based on keywords and basic rules of snippet attractiveness, translation and placement on pages;
• Selecting images and exploring the possibilities of getting an extended snippet – our task is not only to take the top in the issue but also to make the announcement (announcement, snippet) of the client’s site in the issue the most noticeable and attractive for a click, we explored the possibilities of adding markup, adding images, as well as adding emoji in the meta description;
• Indexing changes – creating pages is the most important step, however if they don’t get indexed, everything doesn’t make sense; we submitted the pages to Google tools for indexing and made sure they were indexed;
• Reference research and building external links to pages – we studied the possibilities of getting links and decided to build outreach links from Vinnitsa media – this allowed us to get not only a link, but also mentions on popular sites that are read by Vinnitsa citizens. We consider this step to be one of the most successful, as some of the publications took places in the TOP 10 of the output for the queries we are interested in, which means that we took several places in the TOP of the output with mentioning our company – to our websites and media;
• Results Monitoring – We added the queries we studied to position tracking services and were amazed at the results, but we’ll discuss that in the next section.

The price of website promotion was minimal – payment for 12 hours of work of a specialist and $250 budget for links, considering the result obtained, the payback was very fast.

Promotion results

The client wanted to order SEO promotion in a rather specific way. However, we accepted the request and provided the result—top 1 for all queries of both groups. We ranked Top 1 two weeks after implementations + a week to prepare and place all elements.

We not only secured the top spot for the necessary queries but also got the most attractive snippets in the rendition.

Unfortunately, in the future, the client did not continue with the work, and gradually, competitors moved his adverts down a few points, however at the time of completion of this stage of SEO promotion, the client was very happy and was receiving (and continues to this day) requests for these services from the site.
